This department has well designed animal house facility registered by CPCSEA (IAEC), Government of India.
Pharmacology laboratory:
This lab is well established for the practical requirement of the subjects APHE (Anatomy, Physiology and Health Education) and pharmacology.
DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACOGNOSY
Pharmacognosy is a specific discipline deals with study of drug which are obtained from natural sources (plant, microorganism, minerals and animal products) used in human and vertenary purpose. This department provides information about the principles and procedures used in the identification, authentication, extraction, isolation of active constituents by chromatography techniques, purification development and standardization of herbal formulations, and assay methods for the isolated constituents. This department is also maintaining a medicinal garden which serves as an enlightening display of medicinal and aromatic plants.
Pharmacognosy laboratory:
Department has well equipped lab facilities for conducting practical in the study of morphology, microscopy, extraction, isolation and standardization of crude drugs.
Animal house:
Our Institute has well ventilated, air conditioned and well designed animal house facility which is registered by CPCSEA (IAEC), Government of India.
Medicinal plant garden:
A medicinal plants garden has been developed at the college campus. The medicinal garden serves as an enlightening display of medicinal and aromatic plants. More than 50 various medicinal plants have already been planted. The plants grown in this garden are useful in the practical classes of Pharmacognosy.
