- Our power system has undergone through several reforms like from GEB to Generation Companies, Transmission Companies, and Distribution Companies. Electrical power is considered as a commodity. Any one can now generate energy and can also apply for the distribution of power. Just like happening with mobile, we may have facility to purchase power from any discom available or to produce by the self.
- Availability Based Tariff (ABT) is already implemented at generation level to have better utilization of generators and to provide cheap power to consumers and to provide benefit to generation companies. Same ABT may also be implemented at consumer level where we will have to watch energy prices before turning on energy crunchy device.
- Power System Optimization and techniques will help in getting quality power, continuity of power and at lesser cost.
